Public Affairs Support- Immediate Opening (Entry to Mid Level)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Allied Technologies is seeking a Public Affairs Support who should be a highly organized self-starter, dedicated team player, and gifted cultivator of relationships, and is excited by medical technologies related to life saving effort of soldiers. Position supports Combat Casualty Research Program (CCRP) Office and Department of Army leaders to perform complex administrative and analytical tasks for the U.S. Army Medical Research Development Command Activity at Ft. Detrick, MD. This position is a hybrid to full time on site at Ft. Detrick.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The professional and dynamic Public Affairs Support will assist with a variety of products and programs and perform the following duties:

Provide administrative support to the Public Affairs Office, and leadership and staff.

Coordinate with USAMRDC Public Affairs Office and Operational Security to clear articles for public release.

Develop, update and maintain CCCRP website and other media materials.

Collect and curate CCCRP publications, presentations and patents.

Review and Staff memorandums, letters, executive summaries, and information papers.

Prepare graphics, slide decks, brochures, and other written content for presentation to leadership, other government agencies, academia and the public.

Assist CCCRP in management of the Stop the Bleed program and will assist in the management of new Stop the Bleed trademark licenses.

Write news stories on CCCRP-funded research accomplishments and attend events for internal government distribution and for public release.

Participate in meetings and perform other duties to include, but not limited to, coordinating and scheduling meetings, seminars between the Government organization and other internal and external agencies.

Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, read ahead documents, minutes and archive documentation in USAMRMC Livelink (EDMS), OneNote, SharePoint or other electronic document management systems and properly file final documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of administrative/program coordination experience (preffered).

Must possess effective communication skills, including verbal, written and email correspondence, and the ability to work with senior leadership and personnel of higher echelons.

Must be proficient with MS suites including PowerPoint.

Preferred Public Trust T1-NACI Clearance Requires

US Citizen

Must be able to pass background and drug testing
